Would be great, if it contained current holidays as well.
Well sorry, this post is rather old, however from this link you should be able to subscribe to the current holidays:

Note that this calendar might only hold holidays up to the year 2009, so when we arrive at 2010 we might have a problem again.
And by the way, from the below link you should be able to add week numbers as well in your Google Calendar – in a very nice way:
