Danish Spelling in Mac OS X (dansk stavekontrol)
Here is a short guide on how to add danish spelling in Mac OS X; first thing to do is to download and install cocoAspell (note that it is available both for PowerPC and Intel). Next, get the danish dictionary (aspell5-da-1.4.42-1.tar.bz2 and aspell-da-0.50.1-0.tar.bz2) or other language dictionaries. Extract the dictionary file into the path /Library/Application Support/cocoAspell/, open the System Preferences > Spelling and check the danish dictionary. That’s it… now you should be able to select Danish (Aspell) in the menubar in applications supporting spelling.

jeg har gjort som ovenstående. Dermed får jeg valgmuligheder i system pref. Men stavekontrol virker stadig ikke på dansk i mac´s standard mail program.
Hvad skal jeg gøre?

Antaget at alt er gjort rigtig, sÃ¥ burde det virke, da det i hvert fald virker for mig. Nu ved jeg ikke om du allerede har gjort dette, men sproget skal ogsÃ¥ lige vælges. Har du eksempelvis Ã¥bnet Apple Mail og oprettet en ny mail, skal du lige ind under Edit > Spelling > Spelling… og vælge Danish (Aspell) under dictionary drop-down menuen (jeg kører med engelsk Mac OS, hvis dit evt. er dansk mÃ¥ du lige lure stien).

Køre selv pÃ¥ min trejde Mac og har været rigtig glad for dette lille program. Har gjort lige so jeg plejer men for denne dialog op nÃ¥r jeg klikker pÃ¥ den i system indstillinger: “Du kan ikke Ã¥bne Spelling-indstillingsvinduet pÃ¥ denne computer. Kontakt udvikleren af denne software for at fÃ¥ en ny version”.
Hvem er det??? Hvor???? og Hvordan??? Har aldrig set den meddelse før.
