iPhone firmware 2.0.1 has been released by Apple
It seems that only bug fixes and no new features are included. Hopefully, applications will not crash anymore, and the scrolling will be smooth all the time.
UPDATE:
Following seems to be fixed in version 2.0.1:
- Keyboard lag fixes
- Contacts List lag fixes
- Overall performance seems to be a bit snappier
Possible new features in iPhone 2.1 firmware:
- Turn-by-Turn GPS Navigation
- Core Location hooks for tracking your direction and speed
- Cut, Copy, and Paste features
- Applications will be able to run in the background
I am excited about the cut, copy paste features. So if thats sucessfull, next you can work on multimedia messaging. This phone is on its way to being the greatest phone ever. A phone that is not limited to just a few functions.
