The Instant Messaging application listed below are all Multi-protocol Instant Messaging clients that allows you to use all of your IM accounts in only one application. They all support the the most general messaging protocols/accounts such as AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ etc. Google Talk/Jabber is supported in the first two. Digsby can like Adium (MAC OS X IM Client) also connect to your Facebook account.

You could also include GAIM and Meebo. They are good multi-protocol clients and with Meebo you don’t even have to download it.
GAIM is actually renamed to Pidgin, but you right I missed Meebo in the list. The web-based Meebo client is also an instant messaging alternative for iPhone and other mobile users.
